Life is hard sometimes. But I've come to learn and believe that God will never give us more than we can bear. Through this blog, I'm going to share the "golden nuggets" of my family.

What are "golden nuggets," you ask? Well, I once had a discipler that would make me share something good or encouraging that God has shown me in His word or done for me during the week. Think of it as a treasure hunter sifting for gold from the sand.

As a teen, my life seemed to be filled with many troubles, but when I took the time to search for those golden nuggets, I came to realize that they weren't that hard to find.

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; If you remove unrighteousness far from your tent, and place your gold in the dust, and the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks, then the Almighty will be your gold and choice silver to you. For then you will delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God. You will pray to Him, and He will hear you; and you will pay your vows. You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways. When you are cast down, you will speak with confidence and the humble person He will save. He will deliver one who is not innocent, and he will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands. Job 22:23-30

Opposites

My mom was gone for a couple of weeks. She was in the Philippines for her brother's funeral. Even though I told her not to worry about it, she brought back some "pasalubongs" (presents) for them. Here's what she brought back for the girls.

Zoey totally loved this outfit! She kept saying, "Is coot. (It's cute.)"

Now, Juliet was another story. Look at those tears! You almost feel sorry for her, right?

This was literally two minutes after I told her she could take the outfit off.

GOLDEN NUGGET: My life became much more interesting when God blessed me with children.

That girl is so funny! She looked like she was in agony wearing that dress...poor thing. She has a Mama that wants to dress her like a girl. :-)

It still amazes me how you can love someone so much, yet they drive you crazy half the time. God's grace, right? : )

I was dying laughing! She definitely knows what she DOESN'T like. Y'know you should make your blog up of entirely quotes...your kids say the BEST stuff. Future comedians or thespians, i think!

Haar, I think I just might have a blog with just their quotes. Hmm...let's see if Kiddie Kwotes is taken.

Oh that Juliet! Makes me wonder how she'll be as a teenager.
